Ferrari non c'è più: se ne è andato in silenzio il 14 augusto, cosi in silenzio che non sembra vero.
Me no sono convinto solo dopo avere rivisto con Suo figlio Piero l'ufficio vuoto, le finestre sprangate della Sue casa e la tomba, che è l'argomento definitivo.
Ma le sue macchine continueranno a portare orgogliosamente il marchio del "Cavallino" in giro per il mondo e continueranno a vincere le corse, come hanno fatto domenica 11 settembre.
Per tutto quello che Enzo Ferrari ha fatto e che è cosi bene riassunto nella Sua frase riportata in copertina, ho una sola parola: Grazie.

Ferrari is no longer with us: he went silently on 14 August, so silently that it doesn't seem true. Only after having seen again with his son Piero the empty office, the barred windows of his house and the tomb, the ultimate proof, was I able to be convinced. But his cars will continue to proudly bear the "Cavallino" emblem around the world and will continue to win races, like they did on Sunday 11 September.
For everything that Enzo Ferrari did and which was so well summed up in his own words on the cover, I have just one word to say: Thanks.

Started life as a supplement to Motor Italia in 1984, Ferrari Story developed to a standalone and mature annual magazine in 1995 until it's demise in 2009.
